Product description

You might go as far as describing the wax jacket as the unofficial uniform of the countryside. It has long been a top-tier choice for all manner of outdoor pursuits from clay pigeon shooting, to a leisurely jaunt. The Banbury is Joules' version. It has a dry wax outer that is shower resistant and benefits from a vertical quilted lining - in a heritage check pattern - that works as a warm barrier from the British weather. Its relaxed fit gives you the room you need for those all important layers underneath.

It has a zip and popper fastening, bellow pockets, additional slip in pockets below the chest and popper vents to the back. Those classic elements you might expect from a style of this kind can be seen through the cord collar and trims and the functional throat latch with popper fastening. Roll up the cuffs to show a flash of the checked lining beneath and look out for the brass hare pin, which will come packaged separately, that can be pinned to the collar for a branded touch.

How long do I have to return my order?

This item must be returned within 30 days of the date of receipt of the item you purchased. The only exception to this is during the Black Friday and Christmas shopping period.

Any purchases made between 15th November and 15th December can be returned up until 15th January in the following year. This allows you to buy Christmas gifts, and still return them after the festive period if needed.

What options do I have to return the product?

As an online marketplace, we do not have any physical locations. All items must be returned by post to the address stated on the returns information listed against your order in the My orders area of your account.

All returned items must be new, unwashed and in the same condition as when they were received, with all tags still attached and intact.

Can I exchange a product?

We do not directly exchange products. To exchange a product for a different size, the original item must first be returned and received. Once that has occurred a refund will be made. To get the new size, the customer must purchase that directly, which they can choose to do after the refund, or before, at their own expense.

There is no fee to exchange via this process.

In the event of an incorrect or damaged product being sent, we will offer a full exchange or refund.

Do I have to pay for returns?

This depends on your reason for return.

If your item is damaged, or an incorrect item is sent, there will be no cost for you to return the item. However, if you are returning the item due to the size or fit, or other details you dislike, the cost of return will be deducted from your refund if using a returns label received with the product, or at your own expense if a label is not used.

What cannot be returned?

For hygiene reasons, underwear, face masks and some jewellery cannot be returned unless they include a hygienic cover and this is still intact. Additionally, any personalised items cannot be returned.
